Eric is the newest member of LHG, joining in 2009 after 20 years with Schlumberger. Eric’s technical specialties include multiphase flow measurement and allocation, well testing and production diagnostics, and technology and product development. His operational experience spans from exploration and appraisal to field development and planning, to brownfield production. Eric has strong skills in process management, knowledge management, asset management, and personnel development.
Background
Eric earned Bachelor and Master Degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. As a graduate student, Eric performed some of the earliest experimental work in three-phase flow in porous media. Eric joined Schlumberger overseas in 1989 as a field engineer, performing wireline and well testing field services throughout West Africa and Europe. Eric has held operations management positions at global, regional and national levels in field operations, technology development, and business development. Most recently, Eric was a key technical resource in the Axio Alliance where he co-developed several advances in multiphase production measurement and allocation. Eric is also an active member of the SPE and the API Committee on Petroleum Measurement and Allocation.
